Today I helped Beth catch some frogs. First we filled a 14 gallon plastic tub with about two gallons of water. Then we snagged some frogs using the frog and fish net we bought her when we went camping a couple of weeks ago. I caught half a dozen.

After that, Va, Beth, and I went to Concord to run some errands. We left the boys at home to do some school work and let Penny have a bit of freedom. Our errands took about 15 minutes too long though, because we had a wedding to go to. We called the boys as we were on our way back to the house so that they would get ready and we wouldn’t have to wait for them. When we got home, Jonathan was wearing a sweater, and David’s pants were heavily wrinkled. We made Jonathan change, and ironed David’s pants. Jonathan put on a shirt that was more wrinkled than David’s pants, so that had to be ironed too. Normally, I would have made them iron their own clothes, but that would have taken forever and we were running late.

We put up the pen and put Penny in it, then we piled in the car and drove to Rollinsford, NH, about 90 minutes away. We arrived at 4:55 for the 5:00 wedding. But of course it didn’t start until about 5:30, so I COULD have made the boys iron their own clothes.

This was the first outdoor wedding I have ever attended. The weather was just gorgeous too – Scott and Tiffany could not have ordered a better day. The reception was in an American Legion hall right across the road from the park where the wedding took place, and it was nice too.

I wish Scott and Tiffany all the best. They are two fine individuals of whom I have grown very fond.
