Oh yeah! I almost forgot that David’s Letter to the editor was published in the Concord Monitor today. Sunday they changed the format of their Sunday comics, and David (being passionate about comics) let them know his opinion. His letter was the longest on that topic (and there were several), and they ran it first. It’s not a bad letter!

The other thing I had some fun with was a request from my co-worker and friend Dennis. He was writing some networking code and to keep it simple, he wanted to test it with a fixed-sized packet. He needed 32 letters (no spaces or punctuation) and asked me if I could think of anything clever that was exactly 32 characters long. Here’s what I came up with:

  • AllYourTcpipPacketsAreBelongToUs
  • AllWorkAndNoPlayMakeJackADullBoy
  • TheOnlyPrescriptionIsMoreCowbell
  • We both liked the last one the best.
